Sometimes it's hard to celebrate our guys' birthdays...what with deployments, underways, duty, leave periods, and just other things they have going on. That's the way it was with Cristian. But with Yvonne's determination we finally got it together!
Last weekend Cristian, John, and Josh were here and we CELEBRATED! Cristian asked for an Italian meal and chocolate cake. So Yvonne fixed Italian Crepes (sorry, my bad no picture) and a death by chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream!
After dinner Cristian opened his presents.
We got him a really cool challenge coin. Which of course, I had to present in an official manner!
And, bless her heart! Since I'm usually the one taking the pictures, every so often Yvonne sneaks in a picture from the other end of the table to make sure I get into some with the guys!
For those of you who are wondering what we did on Saturday, we played Yahtzee! Guess who won? ME!! But, being the humble, shy kind of guy I am, there are no victory pictures of me...hmmmm?
Today we are headed up to Williamsburg to spend Saturday up there ... on Veterans Day military and retirees and veterans get in free. Stay tuned for the story and pictures next week and see if I get put in the "stocks"...
